favourite
This is my favourite photograph because it shows a long corridor from the train, which is a very powerful shot. I think that Tori Calafato has taken this picture to show the viewer how everyone is separated.

This is my favourite photograph because the focus is on the middle of the front of the car. Also he has used a medium depth of field. I think that Robert-Paul Jansen has taken this to show everyone how much he loves his vintage cars.

using this:
shoot 1 - Architecture
worst
This is my worst take because I tried focusing just the blue books but this didn't go to plan. Also it has the reflection of the mirror so that makes it less interesting.
best
This is my best photo because the man is on a power-point. It also has a large depth of field with the focus being clear. The composition of this picture is on the rule of thirds.

shoot 2 - People
worst
This is my worst take because it is out of focus. I intended to have just the stall but this is impossible as this was in the middle of Manchester which is always busy.
best
This is my best take because the lady is focused in the middle and is the middle section of the rule of thirds. This has a large depth of field.

shoot 3 - Christmas
worst
This is my worst take because the light bulbs are covering the writing on the banner. And the picture as i wanted it to. This angle didn't fit in the atmosphere with the picture.
best
This is my best picture because the banner is perfectly aligned with the clock tower of the building. This is also a large depth of field with a worms eye view.

shoot 4 - Splash of blue
worst
This is my worst take because it has the reflection of the flash. I intended to have the ties and napkins but use the Photo Splash to make everything other than the blue ties and blue napkins grey.
best
This is my best because the focus point is on the first 4 bars of light and it also has a medium depth of field with the composition being from left to right.

shoot 5 - CATHEDRAL
worst
This is my worst take because it is out of focus. I intended to have the stained window but this is hard because this was taken by using my phone.
best
This is my best take because the focus point is on the window which causes a large depth of field. Also the sun rays makes a good impact on the picture. Furthermore, none of the researched photographers have taken pictures of windows. It's like I have captured the reflection of the sun as it is pointing downwards.

shoot 6
Plan:
- Take pictures of deserts
- Take pictures of deserts
worst
This is the worst one because the popcorn cones haven't got an effect on them and don't really add an emotion to the viewer.
best
This is the best one because the strawberries and marshmallows have effects on them plus they have an effect on the viewer because it would make the viewer want some. Also it has medium depth of field with the focus point on the marshmallows.
evaluation
I have had fun at Manchester but mostly at the cathedral. It was interesting to find out how interesting all the architecture, life and Christmas is in Manchester on a normal day. Overall, I think that I have understood the styles of the photographers. The pictures which I took in Manchester are proof that I understand the concept of my researched photographers. My photographs have allowed me to examine ideas in which I can make in my own styles. I think that I have done well in Manchester.
